Accor looks to the future of business travel

The company has joined forces with travel managers from 17 leading corporations to establish the Accor Global Leadership Council

The GLC brings together experienced professionals from various sectors of the travel industry, including finance, engineering and technology, with Accor's senior leaders to reimagine business travel and meetings in the post-pandemic world.

The travel managers, who collectively represent more than 2.7 million business travelers, have identified three key priorities:

  • Traveler experience and well-being: Emphasizing employee well-being, safety and the use of technology to enhance the travel experience;
  • Cost Management and Optimization: Focusing on program compliance, pricing optimization and effective cost control strategies;
  • Sustainability: Increasingly, business travelers are prioritizing green practices and initiatives that promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
