Holiday websites are using 'unethical' pressure selling tactics despite being warned to stop by a watchdog four years ago. Analysis of several sites found evidence of alarming pop-ups which can trick holiday makers into rushed and dearer bookings.
Rory Boland, editor of Which? Travel, said: 'The tight deadlines, countdown clocks and the suggestion that rooms or flights are about to sell out are all purposefully designed to rush us into making a booking.'
